A Little Bit About Me.

I grew up in and currently live in Oklahoma City.  I graduated from Putnam City High School in 1980 and attended the University of Texas at Austin where Iearned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in the prestigious Plan II Honors program in 1984.   After college, I returned home to attend the Oklahoma City University School of Law.  I earned a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degee in December, 1987 and passed the February, 1988 Bar Exam.

I've Practiced Law For Over 20 years.

While in law school, I attended Louisiana State University's summer law program in Aix-En-Provence, France, where I took a course in the Constitutional Convention which was co-taught by U.S. Associate Justice Antonin Scalia. 

I also worked in the Enforcement Division of the Oklahoma Department of Securities. 

 I Found a Niche Practicing Consumer Law.

I've handled many different kinds of cases over the years:  Personal Injury, Family Law, Criminal, Bankruptcy, etc. , but about 15 years ago, I started handling consumer law cases. 

I found these cases to be interesting, challenging and n demand.  Over time,  these cases represent the vast majority of what I do. 

I've attended national conventions of the National Consumer Law Center in 1998, 2000, 2003 & 2006.  

I'm also a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates.
